B. Gordon Hlynsky, B.E.S., M.Arch., M.A.I.B.C.
Gordon Hlynsky, the firm's principal, was raised in a family construction and development business in southwestern Manitoba, obtained a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in 1969 and graduated a medal winner from the University of Manitoba with a Master of Architecture in 1972. Practicing in Vancouver since 1973 included 10 years partnership with Zoltan S. Kiss & Partners from 1976 to 1986. The current practice has operated in West Vancouver since 1987. Gordon, married with 3 children, is active in North Shore Community volunteer activities as well as serving on the Whistler Design Panel from 1992 to 1996.
